Elias Gorget

The matching gorget from Mytholon's "Elias" series.

Offers good protection to the wearers' neck and makes every worn armour look even more astonishing. This gorget allows spaulders to be linked up to the buckles on its sides.

We suggest to combine the gorget with either a padded collar or a gambeson. This avoids scratches and bruises and gives a plus in comfort while wearing it.

The breastplate from the "Elias" series is kept simple and functional. The chest and back plate are connected by flexible leather pieces on the shoulders. This not only increases the mobility, it also allows a quick fitting and displacement of the armor. Of course, this armor also has suspensions for spaulders. It is closed with straps on the sides by which the size can also be adjusted. Thanks to its plain and simple straightness, the short breastplate "Elias" is very suitable for  guards, soldiers or mercenaries. It is also a good base to build a heavy armor on it.

The original, typical spaulder has a segment added to it and therefore looks even more impressing. The spaulders are being fixed by a buckle-strap on the gorget, and a single strap under your upper arm.

The gorget is not included and is required when used in conjunction with the rest of the Elias set.

Epic Armoury’s Shoulder Plate Giant Warrior are a set of two shoulder guards designed to protect the shoulder-joints and upper arm. This armour’s metal plates overlap one another to provide complete laminate protection. Overlaying the spaulders is a large pauldron, which provides additional protection to joints and armpits. Atop the pauldron a vertical plate sword breaker catches and deflects blows before they can impact the head. The sword breaker is slightly concave and somewhat higher at the back than the front, thus providing protection without impairing vision. Although the armour is designed to match Epic Armoury’s ‘Warrior’ set, it is fully interchangeable with other Epic Armoury armours in order to fully customize your character’s look.

Secure the Shoulder Plate Giant Warrior by tightening the top leather strap onto a breast- or neck-plate, adjusting so that the armour sits comfortably over the shoulder. Keep the armour from further moving by securing an additional top leather strap around the upper arm. Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

Sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel, this galvanized steel piece has been decorated to mimic reptilian scales. The plate rests at the hips and has a V-shaped flange--or sword turner--that deflects blows from the weak spot where torso and leg armour fit together. This bestselling armour is made for the upper crust of the battlefield, featuring front and backplates, faulds and tassets. The breast plate has a central crease and ridges around the rim. The armour is a close fit to the arms and throat to minimize the number of weak spots.
