Elias Breastplate

The breastplate from the "Elias" series is kept simple and functional. The chest and back plate are connected by flexible leather pieces on the shoulders. This not only increases the mobility, it also allows a quick fitting and displacement of the armor. Of course, this armor also has suspensions for spaulders. It is closed with straps on the sides by which the size can also be adjusted. Thanks to its plain and simple straightness, the short breastplate "Elias" is very suitable for  guards, soldiers or mercenaries. It is also a good base to build a heavy armor on it.

The knees have a joint and therefore do not interfere with movement.

Epic Armoury’s Ready for Battle Breastplate is a handmade cuirass designed to protect the front of the torso and abdomen. The plate rests at the hips and has a small flange--or sword turner--that deflects blows from the weak spot where torso and leg armour fit together. Secure the RFB Breastplate by tightening the 4 cm wide leather straps across the back, keeping the breastplate in place over your gambeson. Epic Armoury’s Green Corrazina is a beautiful low-fantasy piece of armour protecting the front and back of the torso and abdomen. The plate rests at the waist and is sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel. Practical Protection for the Body

Epic Armoury’s Soldier Torso is a handmade cuirass and backplate, designed to protect the front and back of the torso and abdomen. This low-fantasy design is meant to fit an assortment of characters, and is inspired by historical medieval armour. It’s simple form comes in a range of sizes, and can easily be used by most people thanks to its curve and ability to overlap beneath the arms. The plate rests at the hips and has small rolled flanges around its edges.

Secure the Soldiers Torso by attaching the breastplate and backplate together over the chest. Six leather straps are riveted to the backplate, and are adjusted using the buckles attached to the breastplate. Tighten and adjust to your size, ideally over a padded gambeson for the most comfort. Epic Armoury’s Char-a'ina Epic Dark is a simple low-fantasy, historically based piece of armour protecting the front and back of the torso and abdomen, that has its origin in Persia, modern day Iran. Using four plates, one on the front, back and sides, the Char-a'ina held together by full grain straps that criss cross arcross your back and can be tightend and loosend between your sides.

The large blank areas on the Char-a'ina is perfect for those of you who wishes to add a personal ingraving to your armour, as this was also a historical tendency for those who wore it, during its heyday.

The Char-a'ina is was historically, used in conjunction with chain mails or chain shirts. Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

HISTORY

• Char-a'ina translates as "four mirror", referring to the four plates that compose this type of armour.
• The historical examples that survive to today are usually those of noblemen, highly detailed and engraved with scenes of from the lives of those that wore them.
• Our version is an amalgemation of the different designs rather than one specific, in order to create a more general look.

The "Edward" armour is inspired by the typical armours of the high middle ages.

The segmented breast plate is very agile. It is dominated by dynamically upswung lines. Ornamental beading and riveting give the armor a noble but also intimidating character. The tassets of the "Edward" series can be mounted in straps on the bottom segment of the chest plate. This armor is suitable for the representation of paladins and knights as well as for mercenary or adventurers. It can be combined with any spaulder from our assortment.

The recommended abdominal circumference is 126 cm (including padded clothing) – but the armour can be widened by side-mounted leather straps up to a maximum of 144 cm. The length is 74 cm.

Epic Armoury’s Renegade Cuirass is a torso armour designed to shield the upper chest and waist, along with the lower back. Handcrafted from 1mm thick mild steel, this torso armour features a malleable front plate that provides great protection and movement. The shape of the front plate is specifically designed to be more comfortable for a male player. These plates are attached with vegetable-tanned leather to two lower back plates, that can be strapped together to have the torso armour be a combined front and back plate.

The Renegade Cuirass is designed to match Epic Armoury’s ‘Renegade’ set, a mercenary-inspired armour set that has been designed for specifically male body sizes and types. The Renegade armour is perfect for the well-armed and armoured adventurers or the Rebellious individuals fighting against an unjust empire. Renegade armour is made in such a way that it can also be paired with other Epic Armoury armours in order to grant you endless customization possibilities. To wear the Renegade Cuirass, simply Strap the two leather straps situated on the two backplates, and make sure that they are tightly fitted in order to keep the armour firmly in place.
