Epic Armoury's Chain Mantle is a flexible mail shoulder guard made from linked steel rings. The mail covers the upper body and arms, designed to protect the shoulders and chest from piercing and slashing damage. Each butted ring interlocks with four other rings in a 4-in-1 design.

Secure the Chain Mantle by tightening the leather strap around the neck, keeping the mantle in place over your gambeson. Made of 1.6 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

The lined Nimue ("nmWAY") gorget  is ideal for the cold days of the year.
Made with a warm wool synthetic blend, it protects well from wind and weather and blends seamlessly with 2019 winter fashions. The edge of the gorget is fringed with fluffy faux fur. The Nimue is closed with a suede strap and a brass buckle.

Designed to add comfort and protection beneath your Epic Armoury Scout Shoulders, this Scout Shoulder Gambeson is a must have when you venture into battle. Made from quilted cotton encasement and lined with a soft polyester interior, this product has a stitching that ensures the padding remaining evenly spaced. Elvish embroidery and polyester fur trim embellishes this hood, adding great detail to the felted wool. The inside is lined with soft, comfortable cotton.

MAINTENANCE

As a tight weave fabric, this light canvas product is stronger and heavier than simple cotton. This material wrinkles easily, but can be ironed on a higher heat level.

Cleaning

Machine wash at 30°C / 86°F. Wash separately the first time and with similar colours afterwards. Do not tumble dry! Lay the garment out flat to dry.
