Gadaric Tunic - Cotton

The tunic was not only worn by romans in the ancient world, but was a favorited piece of clothing even in the high and late medieval period in Europe. It has been a basic piece of undergarment for men and women and constantly changed its appearance due to modern cuts and sewing techniques.

Mytholon's Gadaric tunic is used as a basis for most medieval costumes. The bottom widens slightly and has a central cut in the front and back to allow better movement of the legs. The wide cut sleeves will let you move your arms unhindered when dancing of fighting.

Worn as an undergarment (under any Gambeson from our range), it will keep you cool, yet warm enough and drains off humidity from the wearers body.

Buckle up this tunic with any of our ranges belts to wear it as an overgarment. This will have you wearing a costume for itself. Combine it with a pair of pants and a belt bag and have a basic character dressed for adventures or your next visit on the medieval fair.

The bag belt from the "Borchard" series is ideal for organising a lot of equipment and having it ready to hand quickly.
Whether healer, mercenary, alchemist or adventurer, in this combination of robust belt and five bags you will find everything you could need on the way. The practical pocket belt can be conveniently stored back in the camp.
All pockets are closed at the front with a loop over a button, the belt has two practical rings to adjust it to the desired circumference.
If you want to carry even more equipment, you can also connect two belts and use them as shoulder belts. The bag belt can also be attached to backpacks and knapsacks.

Epic Armoury’s Pants Medieval is a classic pair of pants with signature baggy legs featuring a few convenient modern alterations, such as the sizeable pockets. Made from durable light canvas, these pants are extra wide above the knees before mimicking leggings, easily fitting inside your boots and leg armour. Adjust the fabric around the calves by tightening the reinforced cotton cord to get the best fit.

The pants are fitted with a cotton drawstring at the waist to keep the pants in place while leaving sufficient room for a proper belt. The Pants Medieval are fully compatible with other Epic Armoury clothes and armours, allowing you the freedom to personalize your character's gear.

This bestselling Ready for Battle Gambeson is a padded armour coat covering the torso, abdomen, back and upper arms. It can be worn on its own or serve as essential padding under mail or armour. The gambeson is donned like a jacket and closed on the front with four leather straps with iron buckles.

Thick enough to serve as its own armour, this sturdy gambeson is constructed with heavy layers of fluffed cotton padding sandwiched between coloured heavy cotton, all stitched together in vertical lines. The stitching keeps the padding in place and mimics a classic European high-medieval style. The gambeson is open under the armpits to allow the wearer to breathe and have ease movement.

The Epic Armoury Jin Baori is a traditional open overcoat to be worn over a high-ranking samurai’s armour. Reaching from the shoulders to the mid-thigh and edged with broad golden bands along the collar and hem, this handsome garment adds detail and interest to an Asian-inspired costume. Fit shoulder armour outside the Jin-Baori by threading straps through the four eyelets located on the back and front. Each eyelet is clearly marked by golden edging, adding strength and aesthetic appeal.

On the back, the Jin-Baori has two slits allowing maximum mobility. These slits also allow a sword to hang comfortably from a belt beneath the coat. The garment is made of durable, but comfortable cotton with gold coloured cotton edging. Fully compatible with Epic Armoury's other Asian styles, the Jin-Baori is for the warrior looking to display his status and skill on the field of glory.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Dark Red Kimono is a traditional Japanese T-shaped robe with ¾ length sleeves made from heavy red cotton and a reinforced collar. Reaching from the shoulders to the upper thighs, this garment is a great base to an Ancestral costume. The Kimono is worn by tying the left over the right side, securing its cotton straps located on the inside and outside of the waist. The sleeves hang loose just above the wrists, leaving the hands free and allowing the greatest possible freedom of action.

Fully compatible with Epic Armoury's other Asian styles, the Kimono is a great basis for almost any samurai-inspired character you wish to make - be it honourable warrior or dishonoured thief.
