DETAILS

Epic Armoury's Bladesinger Sword is a long curved latex sword with extensive details inspired by the Elven Universe collection. The sword is 110 cm long with an 80 cm single-edged blade embellished with foliage-like carvings. The crossguard is sculpted to look like golden overlapped leaves, protecting the one- or two-handed 27 cm split-wrapped handle. The handle ends in a long pommel in the shape of a thorn.

The style is easily compatible with Epic Armoury's other elven range of blades, bows, armour and clothes, giving you the freedom to customize the style and gear your prospective elf needs. Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your battlefield kit.

Aradani Studios elf ears are considered by many as the best costume prosthetics in the world. These are hand-crafted in our home studio by the artists of Aradani with attention to detail and quality.

Not only do we hand make and inspect each set of ears, we try to use the highest quality materials we can find. Often on the road we are told our ears last for years of use, with some people coming back with the same ears after 6-7 years of wearing them! You can attach these ears with spirit gum or liquid latex (personally we recommend spirit gum). The seam lines can be blended with latex or hidden with the use of an ear cuff as shown in the picture.

These are handcrafted in our home studio, by the artists of Aradani, with attention to detail and quality. 

Aradani Studios was founded in 2002 by the Bielaczyc siblings, Michael, Paul and Sara. Their original intention was to work at the Tennessee Renaissance Festival as a part-time endeavor, a way for them to spend time together and have some fun selling artwork. So many people were interested in Paul's elven costume, particularly the pointed ears, that the they decided that they would add elf ears to the business. The following weekend, the Bielaczyc's began what Aradani Studios is best known for: hand-painting elf ears to blend in naturally with people's skin tone.

What began as a once a year activity for the brothers expanded in 2003 to include three Renaissance festivals and multiple conventions around the country. During this time, Aradani Studios carried a variety of other brands, but didn't manufacture any of their own products. However, with customers requesting custom prosthetics at every show, they decided it was time to expand.

Starting early in 2005, they began sculpting and producing their own line of prosthetics, by 2007, over 90% of the products they sold were created in house, made and manufactured in Nashville, Tennessee. Customers all over the world have enjoyed Aradani elf ears and masks.

Aside from latex prosthetics and jewelry, Michael and Paul Bielaczyc are acclaimed fantasy artists, winning awards all over the country and working for companies such as Dragonlance and Apex Digest. Their work can be seen in shows across the Southeast and various publications.

Epic Armoury’s Lorian Glaive is a 195 cm latex polearm specifically designed as part of the Elven Universe. The Lorian Glaive has a long, single-edged curved blade fitted to a pole, and was inspired by historical glaives with an elegant touch. Handpainted and sculpted, the 90 cm blade is detailed with vine-like carvings, matching the golden foliage and the thorn shaped crossguard and pommel. The haft is 95 cm long and wrapped in soft brown split-leather for a secure and comfortable grip.

Epic Armoury’s Cape Exclusive is a beautifully adorned long cape with a hood. Designed to provide significant cover thanks to the rounded shoulders, this cape offers protection from the elements from head to the mid-calf. Made from heavy cotton twill to keep you warm, the inside is lined with soft cotton to add comfort and weight for cold days. Elvish embroidery embellishes this cape, adding great detail to an already high quality product.

Capes are great garments for rounding off character looks, and the Cape Exclusive is a stylish layer that especially fits a roguish or elven character. Secure the cape around your neck by tying the cotton straps at the throat.

Description

Created in collaboration with Le Duché de Bicolline, La Duchesse represents the culmination of two universes linked by the same destiny. On the one hand, Bicolline, today the largest domain devoted to medieval fantasy role-playing games in North America, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of it's Battle. On the other hand, Calimacil, whose know-how for the creation of foam weapons for LARP continues to evolve, now relies on partnerships between the various LARP industry players.

The handle of La Duchesse proudly displays the seahorse, emblem of Bicolline, on its pommel and on each side of its hilt. The golden color gives it a majestic aspect that is sure to turn heads. The rest of the handle, more sober, gives it a striking realism. The suptile variations between silver and steel hues, between black and dark brown, allow the details of the grip and the guard to be raised. The blade has all the characteristics of the latest innovations from Calimacil. It strikes the perfect balance between safety and a realistic look. The illusion of sharpness is accentuated by a silver edging on a steel base. As a final touch, the base of the blade features engravings whose detail is revealed by a gold color on a black background.
