Epic Armoury’s Merc Light Armour is a cuirass made from leather and steel covering the front of the wearer's torso. The front of this breastplate circles the wearer’s neck, sloping around the rib cage to protect under the arms. The lower edge of the breastplate rests over the sternum, curved to protect bone while providing lots of flexibility for the waist. The steel plate is fitted onto brown leather straps, attached to a large steel ring behind the shoulderblades. This design allows for the most maneuverability on varied body shapes and torso lengths.

The Merc Light Armour is designed to be easily worn and removed. The shoulder straps are secured to the breastplate using sturdy steel pins, so no apprentice is required! Epic Armoury’s Merchant Suede Bag is a large, flat leather belt pouch. The bag is closed by securing the full-grain leather strap and brass buckle. Two 8 cm leather loops on the back allow the bag to be attached to your belt.

Humidity, expansion and contraction in the heat, UV radiation, rain, and the withering blows of your enemies all conspire to expose your armour to rust, but worse yet, your very own precious bodily fluids conspire to corrode it from the inside with their impurities and corruption! (which is why we only ever drink pure grain alcohol or rainwater)

You could coat your armour (and other metal objects) in a regular run of the mill lubricant, but many of them are actively hydrophobic. Great for metal but terrible for leather, cotton and other organic materials!

Lanox MX4 is a lanolin rich lubricant, and lanolin is the oil that is naturally produced by sheep to prevent them from shrinking in the rain and generally remain weather proof! It is superior to many artificial compounds and does not damage leathers or organic fibres.

The torso armour "Markward" is a classic cuirass and consists of a chest- and a back plate. The two parts are connected with sturdy leather straps and roll buckles. You can also adjust the size of the torso armour individually. The torso armour does not have its own suspension for spaulders. An additional gorget must be used for such an extension.

With its curved lines and the decorative rivets, this cuirass is ideal for building an armor with a well-wealthy character without becoming ' ostentatious '. It is well suited for knights and officers, but also for successful adventurers and wealthy mercenaries.

The breastplate from the "Elias" series is kept simple and functional. The chest and back plate are connected by flexible leather pieces on the shoulders. This not only increases the mobility, it also allows a quick fitting and displacement of the armor. Of course, this armor also has suspensions for spaulders. It is closed with straps on the sides by which the size can also be adjusted. Epic Armoury’s Char-a'ina Epic Dark is a simple low-fantasy, historically based piece of armour protecting the front and back of the torso and abdomen, that has its origin in Persia, modern day Iran. Using four plates, one on the front, back and sides, the Char-a'ina held together by full grain straps that criss cross arcross your back and can be tightend and loosend between your sides.

The large blank areas on the Char-a'ina is perfect for those of you who wishes to add a personal ingraving to your armour, as this was also a historical tendency for those who wore it, during its heyday.

• Char-a'ina translates as "four mirror", referring to the four plates that compose this type of armour.
