Edward Belt Shields

Belt shields to match the torso armor in our updated Edward series.

Mytholon Belt Shields are sold as singles, excluding belt.

Mytholons belt shields can be painted in groups colours, insignia or heraldry to show the membership to a certain group.

Matching the "Balthasar" series, this shield is decorated with rivets and a beading along the edge. It is worn on a belt by using the two loops on the top to hoist it through there. Naturally it can be worn as a tasset, when fastened on the upper thigh. This way you will have an additional plate armour piece. The belt shields, just like Mytholons arm shields, cry out to be painted, modded and to be combined with existing clothing. This is, where your creativity and immagination comes into place.

Speaking of creativity: We suggest to clean the shield with Acetone prior to painting it. Afterwards just sand it with a 600 grit sandpaper. Use some automobile colour primer as a base. When that is fully dried, you should sand it again and apply a second layer of colour. Once thats dried you can paint your details, like heraldry, animals and writings with weatherproof acrylic paint.

This small belt shield completes the "Galahad" torso armour.
Use the two buckles to strap it to the centre part of the chest plate and to cover up the unprotected parts in your crotch.
It may be a small armour piece, but it brings a huge effect to any armour, as it can be used to paint heraldic colours on it.
This shield can also be added to any exsisting armour, but may need some handiwork to get it attached.

The Marauder Belt Shields provide unyielding, ruinous protection, and is made from mild steel in Epic Dark and Epic Grey colours to emphasise a sinister and unholy origin. They are designed with star-shaped place-holder screws that are replaceable with mountable accessories such as the Mountable Demon Horns.

Epic Armoury’s Dark Drake Breastplate is a finely sculpted piece of armour that protects the front of the torso, chest and abdomen. Sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel, this galvanized steel piece has been decorated to mimic reptilian scales. The plate rests at the hips and has a V-shaped flange--or sword turner--that deflects blows from the weak spot where torso and leg armour fit together. The armour is made from rolled mild steel treated with Epic Armoury’s Epic Dark Metal coat, which gives the armour a rugged, antique finish.

This bestselling armour is made for the upper crust of the battlefield, featuring front and backplates, faulds and tassets. The breast plate has a central crease and ridges around the rim. The armour is a close fit to the arms and throat to minimize the number of weak spots. Epic Armoury’s Dark Drake Upper Leg are tassets designed to protect the thigh and groin. The style is late medieval with rolled edged metal plates overlapping each other. Two sets of steel plates hang from the hips to cover the outer thighs. A third set of slimmer plates cover the groin area and provide some protection to the inner thighs. The set comes with a leather belt with suspenders to keep the piece in place.
