This bestselling armour is made for the upper crust of the battlefield, featuring front and backplates, faulds and tassets. The breast plate has a central crease and ridges around the rim. The armour is a close fit to the arms and throat to minimize the number of weak spots. The matching breast and backplates extend below the abdomen, connecting to the tassets beneath the protection of the faulds: a series of overlapping, modelled metal plates protecting the weak spots at the pelvis.

Epic Armoury’s Gothic Leg Protection consists of cuisses to protect the lower thighs, articulated poleyns covering the knees, and half demi-greaves protecting the upper shins and sides of the calves. The poleyon knee-cups are articulated, composed of four overlaying plates and fitted with a projecting heart-shaped plate adding cover to the notoriously under-protected hamstring. This armour piece is held up via straps tied to the wearer’s belt and held in place via guiding straps around the thighs and calves.

Epic Armoury’s Sallet is a protective helmet with a movable visor closely based on the historical helmet used in 15th century Germany. Epic Armoury’s Gothic Gorget & Shoulders is fully articulated and designed to provide protection for the throat, neck and shoulders while minimizing the exposure of weak-spots. The armour is a four-piece set: a two piece gorget and two shoulders. The gorget covers the thorax to the sternum and is furnished with several ridges and two large octagonal besagues (round metal shields) to protect the notoriously under-armoured armpits from arrow-strikes. The two parts are fitted together with vegetable tanned top-grain leather straps. The gorget also provides fastenings for the shoulders. The shoulders are composed of articulated spaulders covering the shoulder-joint and upper arms, reinforced with large pauldrons sculpted to look like dragon’s wings to further protect the armpits. Epic Armoury’s Gothic Arm Protection is a set of steel elbow cups--or couters--designed to protect the elbow joints. The elbow cups are rounded with reinforcing ridges and decorative steel rivets. Around the rim of each cup, a large V-shaped flange deflects blows away from the elbows. A half-rerebrace protects the upper arm while a vambrace protects the forearm below the couters. Top grain leather straps are used to close the braces and a third leather strap around the elbow keeps the piece in place.

These bestselling Epic Armoury Gauntlets are a set of early renaissance articulated steel gloves designed to provide maximal protection in combat without compromising manoeuvrability. From fingers to the forearm, you can expect these gauntlets to keep you safe. Each gauntlet protects the fingers, covering them to the tips with overlapping metal plates. The knuckles are protected by a rigid, sculpted knuckle plate. A short vambrace protects the wrist halfway up the forearm. And so it is with your own armour!
Humidity, expansion and contraction in the heat, UV radiation, rain, and the withering blows of your enemies all conspire to expose your armour to rust, but worse yet, your very own precious bodily fluids conspire to corrode it from the inside with their impurities and corruption! (which is why we only ever drink pure grain alcohol or rainwater)

You could coat your armour (and other metal objects) in a regular run of the mill lubricant, but many of them are actively hydrophobic. Great for metal but terrible for leather, cotton and other organic materials!

Lanox MX4 is a lanolin rich lubricant, and lanolin is the oil that is naturally produced by sheep to prevent them from shrinking in the rain and generally remain weather proof! It is superior to many artificial compounds and does not damage leathers or organic fibres.

Epic Armoury’s Epic Dark Rogue Torso is a cuirass made from leather and steel. This breastplate circles the neck in a narrow U-shape, with the steel chest protecting the thorax before sloping around the ribcage to protect under the arms. The steel plate is fitted on brown leather using heavy-duty rivets, and is secured using straps around the back and across the shoulderblades. The lower edge of the breast plate rounds to fit against the crest of the hips, dipping down into a point at the front. Mytholon enters the market for more premium armour designs with the neautifully hand crafted Dragomir armour.

The torso is what makes the whole set. Fit for a warlord, a ravager, a god king amoung the Fallen!

The "Dragomir" plate armor is incredibly elaborate. It consists of a multitude of lames and finely shaped elements which, when combined, result in extraordinary armor that can hardly be more agile. Every part by "Dragomir" is carefully flanged, decorated with beads and coordinated with one another. They impress with their shape and the masterful execution that makes this armor so unique.

If you like it a little less decorated and want to save some money, you should check out "Dragomir's" brother "Rikomer". Technically identical, "Rikomer" dispenses the decorative beads in favor of a more brutal look and a lower price.

Armor like this is usually only available as a custom-made product and Mytholon had to fiddle a long time before they could get it ready for series production. Of course, the fit must and can be optimized here and there by careful bending, but Mytholon have designed the armor in such a way that it can be carried into the field with maximum comfort.

The individual parts of the Dark varient are burnished to protect against rust and are particularly suitable for dark knights or fighters of chaos.

Steel varient "Dragomir" is particularly suitable for dragon knights or fighters of light.

We generally recommend wearing a gambeson and arm & leg paddings under plate armor. This significantly improves wearing comfort and protection.

The "Edward" armour is inspired by the typical armours of the high middle ages.

The segmented breast plate is very agile. It is dominated by dynamically upswung lines. Ornamental beading and riveting give the armor a noble but also intimidating character. The tassets of the "Edward" series can be mounted in straps on the bottom segment of the chest plate. This armor is suitable for the representation of paladins and knights as well as for mercenary or adventurers. It can be combined with any spaulder from our assortment.

The recommended abdominal circumference is 126 cm (including padded clothing) – but the armour can be widened by side-mounted leather straps up to a maximum of 144 cm. The length is 74 cm.

Chest and back plate form a torso armour. Adding both pieces from the "Galahad" series, you´ll get an impressive body plate armour.
The two parts are linked by using the straps on the shoulders and are closed on each side additionally. The wearer is strapped into this armour and is supported very comfortably.

Shoulders and tassets, just as well as the small belt shield can be added to form a complete armour for the heavy hitting party tank.

The Captain Cuirass provides stout and stylish protection and is available in Polished Steel and Epic Dark which offers a chance for a glorious or grim appearance. Breastplate & Backplate
