Epic Armoury’s Ratio Gorget and Shoulders are leather spaulders reinforced with brass coloured steel plates designed to provide protection for the throat, shoulders, and upper arms. This armour becomes one piece, with the shoulders and gorget attached together by leather cords. The top-grain leather gorget covers the thorax to the sternum and is designed to conform comfortably on the wearer. The shoulders are composed of spaulders covering the shoulder-joint and upper arms. The shoulder plates are strapped on at the gorget and around the upper arms.

The Ratio Gorget and Shoulders are fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Made of 1 mm thick galvanized mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

Epic Armoury’s Ratio Tunic is a padded long-sleeve coat covering the torso from neck to the hips. It can be worn on its own or serve as essential padding under mail or armour. The tunic is donned by sliding it down over the head and is tightened around the waist with a cotton belt. Specifically designed to serve as padding for Epic Armoury’s Ratio armour, this sturdy tunic is constructed with heavy layers of fluffed cotton canvas sandwiched between layers of heavy cotton canvas along the sides and over the neck and shoulders. The heavy cotton sleeves are fitted with brass eyelets on a leather plate to allow the Ratio Elbows and Spaulders to be attached to the fabric.

The Ratio Tunic is fully usable with other Epic Armoury products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume.This tunic is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with the proper fabric care.

The regular leather gauntlets we sell are already pretty boss for giving someone a backhand, but with a plate of brass over the knuckle you'll remain unsullied when laying in for a duel.

Epic Armoury’s Ratio Gauntlets are a set of steel gloves designed to provide maximal protection in combat without compromising manoeuvrability. From knuckles to the forearm, you can expect these gauntlets to keep you safe. Each gauntlet protects the knuckles with a rigid, sculpted knuckle plate. A short vambrace attaches to the hand plates with a thick piece of leather, protecting the wrist up the forearm. The back of the hand and the thumb are protected with overlapping steel plates fitted onto a leather foundation. Secure the gauntlet onto the hand by sliding the fingers through the leather loop around the hand, and tighten its heavy leather straps around the wrist and two around the forearm to keep the armour in place.

The Lancelot collared gorget is part of this exciting armor from Fucina del Drago and is attached to the torso armor with buckles. As a result, it can easily be adjusted in width and height to the individual wearer. It continues the elaborate hallmarking of the armor and thus complements the warlike look with its high stand-up collar.

Black Dragon is our brand for the design and construction of weapons, armor and props oriented to LARP, Cosplay and film productions.

These are articles made of materials such as plastazote, evazote, resins and the like, used to give shape and substance to the wildest dreams of every designer or to reproduce objects not otherwise available because of fantasy.

It was born from the meeting between the Fucina del Drago and Black Forge, an artisan workshop that has been active for years in the LARP and Cosplay sector at national and international level which, in February 2020, joined forces in the common goal of expanding their work and their skills to offer them on a wider market also linked to film productions.

From this collaboration, projects related to TV series have been born that have benefited from years of experience and tests on materials, at the same time highlighting on the one hand the absolute reachable realism and on the other the possibility of truly shaping the imagination to give shape to things otherwise unattainable.

From the feedback obtained, the push that led us to strongly believe in this new project was born to the point of creating a brand dedicated only to this type of product.
