The sword sits in the baldric hanging down from your shoulder, faithful to its master despite the challenges. It has been a long and dusty road--and your uniform down to your Landsknecht Pants is covered in dirt and grime--but that sword has remained at your side through it all.

As your infantry unit comes to a halt, there is the tension one always feels before the fight. You resist the anxiety, because the moment you step into battle all of that must fade away. Epic Armoury’s Landsknecht Pants are styled leggings with baggy thighs and vertically cut colours, most often associated with the wealthy men and German Landsknecht mercenaries of the Renaissance period. Made from durable light canvas and soft cotton lining, these pants are extra wide above the knees before mimicking leggings, easily fit inside your boots and leg armour. Adjust the fabric around the calves by tightening its reinforced cotton cord to get the best fit.

The pants are fitted with a heavy cotton cord drawstring and metal buttons at the waist to keep the pants in place while leaving sufficient room for a proper belt. The pants also have pockets.
Please note that there are decorative stitches in the pleating to keep the product in prime condition prior to sale. For comfort and longevity some customers may need to unpick the stitch on the front and side of the thighs.

The Landsknecht Pants are fully compatible with Epic Armoury's other clothes and armours, and the style will fit with a broad variety of characters.

HISTORY

• Worn by the Landsknecht, a colourful and well known mercenary group from Germany during 15th- and 16th-century Europe
• A great way to show off wealth with the excess use of fabric
• Design is similar to the Pluderhose, a 15th century design that fastened at the knee

A nice, jet natural drum without any superfluent detailing. The upper rim is painted in a different colour than the rest of it and therefore increases the instruments appearance.
Great to combine with rustic costumes and for groups: be it beating the rhythm of a march or just accompany the evenings dance.
This drum is covered with a natural hide (goat) and has a deep sound to it.

Lansquenets (Landsknecht in German) were ferocious mercenaries from the fifteenth and sixteenth century, oftenly German, having a big reputation for their efficiency but also their brutality.

Dressed in a flamboyant style typical of the Renaissance, the majority were pikemen, but the Elite Doppelsöldner were the most feared for the carnage their halberds and large two handed broad swords. eaved in their path.

In addition to the large, low hats crowned with large feathers and doublets with puffed sleeves., The lansquenets adopted tights of different colors and developed a style by cutting their doublet to draw "folds" of shirt through. These two-tone, lansquenet split trousers are made from durable light coton and cut in a very elaborate pattern. The waist contains a thick drawstring on the inside that is used to tie the pants tightly to the wearer's body. The belt is further closed by buttons on the front that will finish to maintain it.

The wide thighs allow for ample leg movements and the tightened at the hips and ankles adds to the support and gives the typical lansquenets look. These pants can not only be used for lansquenet reconstruction, but are also suitable for nobility, merchants or pirate costumes.

One quick flick of your wrist and the lord breathes his last, you knife hitting its mark...and you vanish, leaving their guards bewildered and afraid.

Epic Armoury’s Mempo is a leather half-mask inspired by early Asian soldiers. This mask protects the face from the bridge of the nose to the chin. Four ventilation slits allow proper airflow through the mask’s mouth, designed to be comfortably worn for long periods of time. Secure the mask to your face by tying two long cotton-weave cords around the head.

Made from 3mm thick vegetable-tanned full-grain leather, Epic Armoury’s Mempo is designed to add a great layer to your fantasy or historic costume. With the best quality materials, this mask is built to withstand extensive abuse with regular leather care.

Epic Armoury’s Dark Drake Breastplate is a finely sculpted piece of armour that protects the front of the torso, chest and abdomen. Sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel, this galvanized steel piece has been decorated to mimic reptilian scales. The plate rests at the hips and has a V-shaped flange--or sword turner--that deflects blows from the weak spot where torso and leg armour fit together. The armour is made from rolled mild steel treated with Epic Armoury’s Epic Dark Metal coat, which gives the armour a rugged, antique finish.

The Dark Drake Breastplate is designed to match Epic Armoury’s Dark Drake Armour, but is fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Made of 1 mm thick galvanized mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

The 80 cm double-edged blade is straight with a central ridge, and its design makes it perfect for a noble looking to display a little style. The distinctive crossguard is handpainted and shaped to protect a strong, ergonomic 20 cm handle wrapped in split-leather.

Made from durable closed cell foam around a fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit.

The Kingsword comes in both black and brown leather and we cannot guarantee you receiving one colour or the other, we are working to standardize this, so everyone will be receiving the weapon shown on the pictures

Epic Armoury’s Imperial Shield is a semi-curved gothic latex shield inspired by a late 13th century kite shield. Hand painted and sculpted with careful detail, this shield features a studded metal rim and a laurel-crowned skull and banner on the shield’s face.

Wear this Imperial Shield left-handed with the use of two leather arm straps on the back, secured through hard EVA foam for a reliable and solid grip made to last. Feel confident that this latex shield will withstand the continued abuse of a LARP with regular latex maintenance.
