Epic Armoury’s Shoulderplates are a set of two shoulder guards with spaulders. The spaulders have three ridged metal plates--or lames--overlaying one another to provide laminate protection of the upper arms. The shoulderplates are fastened with leather straps around the biceps and at the shoulder blade, attaching to a breastplate. Epic Armoury breast- and backplates can be purchased separately and have fittings for mounting the shoulders.

The Mercenary Shoulderplates are designed to match Epic Armoury’s Mercenary Armour, but is fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and top-grain leather straps and fittings, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

Epic Armoury’s Mercenary Tassets are reminiscent of the typical pikeman armour of the late medieval and renaissance era. The piece consists of three broad metal plates overlapping each other to provide laminate protection for the hips and upper thigh. The tassets leave the pelvis somewhat unprotected, and normally a cod-piece would be added to protect the groin area. The tassets are secured in place with leather cords.

The Mercenary Tassets are designed to match Epic Armoury’s Mercenary Armour, and are the only tassets not fully interchangeable with other Epic Armoury metal products. Epic Armoury’s Mercenary Torso Plate is a cuirass made from leather and steel covering the front and back of the wearer's torso. The front of this breastplate circles the wearer’s neck in an inverted U-shape, with the chest apex protecting the thorax before sloping around the ribcage to protect under the arms. The lower edge of the breast plate is slightly rounded, allowing it to fit around the crests of the hips and still cover the vulnerable pelvis. The steel plate is fitted on a leather suit, which straps to the back leather plate at the shoulders and the sides.

The large, segmented spaulders from Mytholon's  "Elias" series.

The original, typical spaulder has a segment added to it and therefore looks even more impressing. The spaulders are being fixed by a buckle-strap on the gorget, and a single strap under your upper arm.

The gorget is not included and is required when used in conjunction with the rest of the Elias set.

Epic Armoury’s Dreki Pauldrons are a set of pauldrons with shoulder guards and spaulders, protecting the shoulders and upper armours. Epic Armoury’s Gothic Gorget & Shoulders is fully articulated and designed to provide protection for the throat, neck and shoulders while minimizing the exposure of weak-spots. The armour is a four-piece set: a two piece gorget and two shoulders. The gorget covers the thorax to the sternum and is furnished with several ridges and two large octagonal besagues (round metal shields) to protect the notoriously under-armoured armpits from arrow-strikes. The two parts are fitted together with vegetable tanned top-grain leather straps. The gorget also provides fastenings for the shoulders. The shoulders are composed of articulated spaulders covering the shoulder-joint and upper arms, reinforced with large pauldrons sculpted to look like dragon’s wings to further protect the armpits.
