An elongated front piece and shorter back piece are decorated with rivets, and can be attached to a breast and backplate using its sturdy top-grain leather straps. Epic Armoury’s Shoulder Plate Giant Dark Warrior are a set of two shoulder guards designed to protect the shoulder-joints and upper arm. This armour’s metal plates overlap one another to provide complete laminate protection. Overlaying the spaulders is a large pauldron, which provides additional protection to joints and armpits. Atop the pauldron a vertical plate sword breaker catches and deflects blows before they can impact the head. The sword breaker is slightly concave and somewhat higher at the back than the front, thus providing protection without impairing vision. Although the armour is designed to match Epic Armoury’s ‘Dark Warrior’ set, it is fully interchangeable with other Epic Armoury armours in order to fully customize your character’s look.

Secure the Shoulder Plate Giant Dark Warrior by tightening the top leather strap onto a breast- or neck-plate, adjusting so that the armour sits comfortably over the shoulder. Keep the armour from further moving by securing an additional top leather strap around the upper arm. Epic Armoury’s Dark Drake Breastplate is a finely sculpted piece of armour that protects the front of the torso, chest and abdomen. Sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel, this galvanized steel piece has been decorated to mimic reptilian scales. The plate rests at the hips and has a V-shaped flange--or sword turner--that deflects blows from the weak spot where torso and leg armour fit together. Humidity, expansion and contraction in the heat, UV radiation, rain, and the withering blows of your enemies all conspire to expose your armour to rust, but worse yet, your very own precious bodily fluids conspire to corrode it from the inside with their impurities and corruption! (which is why we only ever drink pure grain alcohol or rainwater)

You could coat your armour (and other metal objects) in a regular run of the mill lubricant, but many of them are actively hydrophobic. Great for metal but terrible for leather, cotton and other organic materials!

Lanox MX4 is a lanolin rich lubricant, and lanolin is the oil that is naturally produced by sheep to prevent them from shrinking in the rain and generally remain weather proof! It is superior to many artificial compounds and does not damage leathers or organic fibres.

Mytholon enters the market for more premium armour designs with the neautifully hand crafted Dragomir armour.

This gorget would look fine on its own atop a black Imperial gambeson, but would look even better with the matching pauldrons and a Draugr blade.

The "Dragomir" plate armor is incredibly elaborate. It consists of a multitude of lames and finely shaped elements which, when combined, result in extraordinary armor that can hardly be more agile. Every part by "Dragomir" is carefully flanged, decorated with beads and coordinated with one another. They impress with their shape and the masterful execution that makes this armor so unique.

If you like it a little less decorated and want to save some money, you should check out "Dragomir's" brother "Rikomer". Technically identical, "Rikomer" dispenses the decorative beads in favor of a more brutal look and a lower price.

Armor like this is usually only available as a custom-made product and Mytholon had to fiddle a long time before they could get it ready for series production. Of course, the fit must and can be optimized here and there by careful bending, but Mytholon have designed the armor in such a way that it can be carried into the field with maximum comfort.

The individual parts of the Dark varient are burnished to protect against rust and are particularly suitable for dark knights or fighters of chaos.

Steel varient "Dragomir" is particularly suitable for dragon knights or fighters of light.

We generally recommend wearing a gambeson and arm & leg paddings under plate armor. This significantly improves wearing comfort and protection.

When you live as dangerously (and arguably illegally) as you, it’s important to keep all the necessary protections on hand. A hood to cover your face is important, but if you had to give a young thief some important advice--you’d tell him to protect his neck.

Epic Armoury’s Gothic Gorget & Shoulders is fully articulated and designed to provide protection for the throat, neck and shoulders while minimizing the exposure of weak-spots. The armour is a four-piece set: a two piece gorget and two shoulders.
