Epic Armoury’s Dark Red Pourpoint is a form-fitting long-sleeve coat covering the torso from the neck to the hips. It can be worn on its own or serve as padding under mail or armour. The pourpoint is donned like a jacket and secured along the front, sides and back with cotton cords, allowing you to customize the tightness of the fit. The arms are easily detachable by untying its cotton cords on the shoulders, each cord secured through long-lasting brass eyelets. Worn like a proper knight, you may attach hose and a leg harness to the four eyelets on the bottom front hem.

Thick enough to serve as its own armour, this durable doublet is constructed with layers of heavy green cotton. The Pourpoint is stitched together in vertical and diagonal lines, keeping the padding in place and giving the body a strong form-fitted appearance.

Humidity, expansion and contraction in the heat, UV radiation, rain, and the withering blows of your enemies all conspire to expose your armour to rust, but worse yet, your very own precious bodily fluids conspire to corrode it from the inside with their impurities and corruption! (which is why we only ever drink pure grain alcohol or rainwater)

You could coat your armour (and other metal objects) in a regular run of the mill lubricant, but many of them are actively hydrophobic. Great for metal but terrible for leather, cotton and other organic materials!

Lanox MX4 is a lanolin rich lubricant, and lanolin is the oil that is naturally produced by sheep to prevent them from shrinking in the rain and generally remain weather proof! It is superior to many artificial compounds and does not damage leathers or organic fibres.

Epic Armoury’s Splint Bracers are a pair of leather and metal arm and elbow guards. The 1mm thick steel couter is forged and shaped to provide the most protection to the entire elbow--including the sides thanks to an attached fan plate. The arm guards, or vambrace and rerebrace, are made from thick top-grain leather and a row of metal strips attached to the inside. With these three overlapping parts providing comfort and flexibility, they have great mobility on the battlefield.

These Splint Bracers feature incredible details like scalloped leather edging, and is covered with a studded and lined suede. Four leather straps are used to keep each of the Splint Bracers in place. Epic Armoury’s Gothic Arm Protection is a set of steel elbow cups--or couters--designed to protect the elbow joints. The elbow cups are rounded with reinforcing ridges and decorative steel rivets. Around the rim of each cup, a large V-shaped flange deflects blows away from the elbows. A half-rerebrace protects the upper arm while a vambrace protects the forearm below the couters. Top grain leather straps are used to close the braces and a third leather strap around the elbow keeps the piece in place.

The Gothic Arm Protection is made from mild steel with rolled edges that form ridges around the rims.
