Epic Armoury’s Chaos Axe is a deadly and menacing 110 cm two-handed axe designed for the brutal and barbaric maurauder. It has a 32 cm long axe-blade with detailing that makes it look battered, used and brutal, an execellent companion piece for your less than merry fighter or blood thirsty barbarian at your next LARP. The head is hand painted to look like real metal embellished with gold, and nicks in the steel to emphasize the used aesthetic, and it is made of safe, soft foam. The bladed head attaches to the shaft which is hand painted. The 37 cm grip at the end of the Chaos Axe is wrapped in suede leather for appearance and comfort.

Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid 10 mm fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, your new LARP axe will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your next LARP character.

HISTORY

• The first hafted axe was created about 6,000 B.C. using birch-tar and raw-hide lashings to fix the blade to its handle
• Many battle axes doubled as tools and were cheaper to make than swords
• Axes are still very prevalent today and is one of the most common tools found in most households, around the world

This work of art is an original design from our team of designers at Calimacil. The inspiration came from the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Every part of the handle is highly detailed, from the Chainmail of the Knight in the pommel visible to the two demonic horses heads in the guard. There is always a new detail to discover. Based on a nasal helm worn during the middle ages, the Undead Helmet will strike fear in the hearts of your enemies as you stride into battle. Epic Armoury’s Epic Dark Rogue Torso is a cuirass made from leather and steel. This breastplate circles the neck in a narrow U-shape, with the steel chest protecting the thorax before sloping around the ribcage to protect under the arms. The steel plate is fitted on brown leather using heavy-duty rivets, and is secured using straps around the back and across the shoulderblades. The lower edge of the breast plate rounds to fit against the crest of the hips, dipping down into a point at the front. This design is mimicked by the overlapped leather plate, which also serves as an anchor for the Rogue Tassets.

The Rogue Torso is designed to match Epic Armoury’s Rogue Armour, but is fully usable with other Epic Armoury metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character’s costume. Made of 1 mm thick galvanized mild steel and top-grain leather, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

Mytholon enters the market for more premium armour designs with the neautifully hand crafted Dragomir armour.

The torso is what makes the whole set. Fit for a warlord, a ravager, a god king amoung the Fallen!

The "Dragomir" plate armor is incredibly elaborate. It consists of a multitude of lames and finely shaped elements which, when combined, result in extraordinary armor that can hardly be more agile. Every part by "Dragomir" is carefully flanged, decorated with beads and coordinated with one another. They impress with their shape and the masterful execution that makes this armor so unique.

If you like it a little less decorated and want to save some money, you should check out "Dragomir's" brother "Rikomer". Technically identical, "Rikomer" dispenses the decorative beads in favor of a more brutal look and a lower price.

Armor like this is usually only available as a custom-made product and Mytholon had to fiddle a long time before they could get it ready for series production. Of course, the fit must and can be optimized here and there by careful bending, but Mytholon have designed the armor in such a way that it can be carried into the field with maximum comfort.

The individual parts of the Dark varient are burnished to protect against rust and are particularly suitable for dark knights or fighters of chaos.

Steel varient "Dragomir" is particularly suitable for dragon knights or fighters of light.

We generally recommend wearing a gambeson and arm & leg paddings under plate armor. This significantly improves wearing comfort and protection.

Combined with the Undead plate belt & torso Mytholon revives some history.
Originally developed as part of the NPC deal for Conquest of Mythodea 2007, the set is being resurrected 15 years on. Whether it's undead flesh or a dark knight, Mytholon's Undead series cuts a fine figure in life or in death.

The "Untot" torso is closed on the sides with stable roller buckles. It is elaborately decorated with beads and features a riveted cross in the middle, which, like the separately available leg pockets, is ideal for attaching a coat of arms, a skull or other ornaments.

Breastplate & Backplate

A suit of armour made for the most intimidating enemies on the battlefield, featuring front and back plates, faulds and tassets. With a polished steel and black paint finish and gothic-inspired accents, protect your entire torso while looking impressive. The matching breast and back plates extend below the abdomen, connecting to faulds and tassets: a series of overlapping, modelled metal plates protecting the weak spots at the pelvis and upper legs.

Shoulder Plates

This fully articulated armour is designed to provide protection for the shoulders and head while allowing freedom of movement. The shoulders are composed of articulated spaulders covering the shoulder, upper arms and molded to deflect hits toward the neck and head. The shoulder plates are strapped onto the chestplate.

Full Legs

An essential for any person wanting to protect the legs while in battle.
