Ranger Torso Armour - Suede

“Do we follow?” asked Viridia. She was older and more experienced than me, but she deferred to my judgement as I had been chosen to lead the hunt. I was determined to do my best and examined the gazendra tracks. The hoof prints were sharp, indicating recent activity, but they also lacked the sloppy curvature of tracks from a tired animal. This one was young and fresh. I stood up and adjusted my leather cuirass: “No, we will not be able to catch up. Let’s look for other tracks.”

The Ranger Suede Torso Armour from Epic Armoury is a cuirass made of chrome-tanned leather, featuring a plain frame with a diagonal weave on the front and sides. It is held together with ornamental strappings that can be adjusted for a comfortable fit. While designed to match other pieces in the Ranger Complete Armour Set, this armour can be combined with components from different sets for a unique look. This versatile armour is perfect for those inspired by the Viking, Celtic, or mediaeval eras of Europe.

As a squire, you are up before dawn serving your Master. You are expected to have your Master’s armour polished and ready at a moment’s notice. There isn’t a moment to yourself that isn’t being spent thinking about your work. Without your Master’s blessing, you’ll never become a Knight.

Only sparingly do you have the opportunity to train your actual knightly skills, however. What personal weapon you own, a single Squire Sword, is easy enough for you to wield as you practice your cuts. One day you will be a fearsome knight. For now, you must continue to work hard.

With a gentle touch, she traced the woven patterns of my shoulder armour, delicately placing a small rose into the weave. A symbol of love. “I held my breath as I watched her steady aim. Her movements as she placed the nock on the bowstring were graceful and subtle – like a hidden dance before the unnoticing prey. She had no ill will against her prey. No disdain nor malevolence. To her, it was just a means to serve her community. As the arrow darted off, the bowstring struck her woven leather bracers.
