Epic Armoury’s Green Corrazina is a beautiful low-fantasy piece of armour protecting the front and back of the torso and abdomen. The plate rests at the waist and is sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to the steel. This steel riveted piece has been covered with a luxurious and soft layer of green suede leather, giving it a particularly rich appearance.

The Corrazina is constructed using multiple metal plates in order to bend comfortably around the body, and is further adjusted to fit your torso using top-grain leather straps at the shoulders, sides, and along the front. Epic Armoury’s Dark Grey Doublet Aramis is a snug-fitting long-sleeved jacket designed to give shape to the male body. This doublet covers the torso to the hips and can be worn beneath armour or cloak thanks to the embroidered eyelets along the chest and upper back. The doublet is donned like a jacket and closed on the front with a system of cords, allowing the wearer to customize the tightness of the fit. The sleeves are easily detachable by untying the cords beneath the decorative shoulder tabs, each cord secured through long-lasting brass eyelets.

Thick enough to provide some warmth, this sturdy doublet is constructed with layers of wool and satin. All these layers are stitched together in slimming lines, keeping the doublet form-fitting and mimicking a rich Tudor style.

Using braided full-grain leather, this belt is both durable and attractive and is designed so that your sword’s weight will be more evenly distributed while resting on the hip. Epic Armoury’s Landsknecht Pants are styled leggings with baggy thighs and vertically cut colours, most often associated with the wealthy men and German Landsknecht mercenaries of the Renaissance period. Made from durable light canvas and soft cotton lining, these pants are extra wide above the knees before mimicking leggings, easily fit inside your boots and leg armour. Adjust the fabric around the calves by tightening its reinforced cotton cord to get the best fit.

The pants are fitted with a heavy cotton cord drawstring and metal buttons at the waist to keep the pants in place while leaving sufficient room for a proper belt. The pants also have pockets.
Please note that there are decorative stitches in the pleating to keep the product in prime condition prior to sale. For comfort and longevity some customers may need to unpick the stitch on the front and side of the thighs.

The Landsknecht Pants are fully compatible with Epic Armoury's other clothes and armours, and the style will fit with a broad variety of characters.

Epic Armoury’s Splint Shoulders are a set of two simple spaulders. The spaulders feature one solid metal plate with a contoured shape to turn and absorb strikes to the arm. The spaulders are fastened with leather straps around the biceps, as well as a cord at the shoulder which attaches to a breastplate or gambeson. Along the top of the shoulder they are embellished with a scalloped metal and black leather breaker.

Epic Armoury’s Splint Bracers are a pair of leather and metal arm and elbow guards. The 1mm thick steel couter is forged and shaped to provide the most protection to the entire elbow--including the sides thanks to an attached fan plate. The arm guards, or vambrace and rerebrace, are made from thick top-grain leather and a row of metal strips attached to the inside. With these three overlapping parts providing comfort and flexibility, they have great mobility on the battlefield.

These Splint Bracers feature incredible details like scalloped leather edging, and is covered with a studded and lined suede. Four leather straps are used to keep each of the Splint Bracers in place. Brass eyelets and canvas cords are used to attach to the forearm guard and upper arm guard. Worn on their own or with our matching Splint Shoulders and Poleyns, these Splint Bracers are sure to add some class to your costume.

Humidity, expansion and contraction in the heat, UV radiation, rain, and the withering blows of your enemies all conspire to expose your armour to rust, but worse yet, your very own precious bodily fluids conspire to corrode it from the inside with their impurities and corruption! (which is why we only ever drink pure grain alcohol or rainwater)

You could coat your armour (and other metal objects) in a regular run of the mill lubricant, but many of them are actively hydrophobic. Great for metal but terrible for leather, cotton and other organic materials!

Lanox MX4 is a lanolin rich lubricant, and lanolin is the oil that is naturally produced by sheep to prevent them from shrinking in the rain and generally remain weather proof! It is superior to many artificial compounds and does not damage leathers or organic fibres.

Epic Armoury’s Merc Light Armour is a cuirass made from leather and steel covering the front of the wearer's torso. The front of this breastplate circles the wearer’s neck, sloping around the rib cage to protect under the arms. The lower edge of the breastplate rests over the sternum, curved to protect bone while providing lots of flexibility for the waist. The steel plate is fitted onto brown leather straps, attached to a large steel ring behind the shoulderblades. The breastplate from the "Elias" series is kept simple and functional. The chest and back plate are connected by flexible leather pieces on the shoulders. This not only increases the mobility, it also allows a quick fitting and displacement of the armor. Of course, this armor also has suspensions for spaulders. It is closed with straps on the sides by which the size can also be adjusted. Thanks to its plain and simple straightness, the short breastplate "Elias" is very suitable for  guards, soldiers or mercenaries. It is also a good base to build a heavy armor on it.

Practical Protection for the Body

Epic Armoury’s Soldier Torso is a handmade cuirass and backplate, designed to protect the front and back of the torso and abdomen. This low-fantasy design is meant to fit an assortment of characters, and is inspired by historical medieval armour. It’s simple form comes in a range of sizes, and can easily be used by most people thanks to its curve and ability to overlap beneath the arms. The plate rests at the hips and has small rolled flanges around its edges.

Secure the Soldiers Torso by attaching the breastplate and backplate together over the chest. Six leather straps are riveted to the backplate, and are adjusted using the buckles attached to the breastplate. Tighten and adjust to your size, ideally over a padded gambeson for the most comfort. Made of polished 1 mm thick steel and chrome leather straps, this armour is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

The "Edward" armour is inspired by the typical armours of the high middle ages.

The segmented breast plate is very agile. It is dominated by dynamically upswung lines. Ornamental beading and riveting give the armor a noble but also intimidating character. The tassets of the "Edward" series can be mounted in straps on the bottom segment of the chest plate. This armor is suitable for the representation of paladins and knights as well as for mercenary or adventurers. It can be combined with any spaulder from our assortment.

The recommended abdominal circumference is 126 cm (including padded clothing) – but the armour can be widened by side-mounted leather straps up to a maximum of 144 cm. The length is 74 cm.
